We now have the provisional dates for this trip;
Thursday 10 to Tuesday 15th May.
So far the itinerary is to ride down to Portsmouth on the Thursday, travel overnight by Brittany Ferries to Caen, and then onwards to the accommodation which is run by an English expat couple who will stock the fridge with beer for us!
Activities when we get there are still in the planning stages.
Approximate costs are £450 for ferry, a £250 deposit is required by next months Woodcocks. Costs for the accommodation are dependent upon numbers and on the type of rooms required by the individuals, and will be advised by Steve Berry / Mike Richardson once details are known.
So far we have five takers – if you want join us and visit these important historical sites please let Steve Berry or Mike Richardson know ASAP.
Once final numbers and cabin preferences are known we can finalise the costs and give firm commitments to the ferry company and our hosts in Normandy.
